order in the B.O

Postby chinpokomon » December 17th, 2011, 6:34 am

i'm still in the 200's(around 280+)  so if i"m wrong feel free to correct me. i thought about the order in the B.O since we know all of their members have alcohol related names i always assumed the chain of command starts with the drink that has the most alchohol percent in it(in my logic make him the deadliest man) and so all the way to the least alchoholic drink but as i see as i watch the series that it doesn't make sense. on one hand we have gin and vodka(drinks with very high level of alchohol in them) and on the other we have vermoth who i assume is the head of the B.O(what can i say, i love spoilers so i often take a sneak preview of coming episodes) which to what i know have lower alchohol than gin or vodka. do you think there's another logic behind the names or is it just random "open liquer cabinet and name it" kinda of an organization?

p.s
i noticed that judi and vermoth uncanny resemblance so I'm very curious to know if there is a connection between them?(mostly if there's a family connection)

Neither the ranking nor the structure go by how much alcohol is in the drinks, otherwise BO members would have to be renamed every time they moved up or down, and alcohol content can actually vary quite a bit within a particular type of alcohol.
There is one bit of logic behind the names. Male agents get hard liquors Pisco, Gin, Vodka, Tequila etc. Women have wine or wine based cocktail names: Sherry, Vermouth, etc.

You will find out the rest of truth behind Jodie and Vermouth in 345, but there are many hints in between you should try to find first. Those hints only occur in episodes based off of the manga. If you want some advice, know that the anime misses the most important clue for this arc. Since I doubt you want to reread the manga to find it, I will tell you to the pages where the clue is, but I'm not going to tell you what is. Good luck!
Spoiler: the clue's location page number
Volume 34 File 1 pg 18
Volume 34 File 4 pg 18

There is something the anime overlooked. Trust me, you have to look closely to find it. If you need me to point it out more explicitly I can, but I think it's best to give it a shot yourself.
