Will the anime continue?

After Gosho finishes the manga, and all the manga chapters are adapted into anime episodes, do you think the anime team will continue producing episodes featuring Shinichi? Or possibly a spin-off starring another character? Or maybe even more movies (they'll bring in a ton of money!)? Discuss!

Probably. They have lots of special volumes that they could adapt, they could also just make the show 100% AO (like Doraemon, Shin-chan, Sazae-san or Chibi Maruko-chan). And, obviously, if the episodes continue, so will the movies.

They might move on to Magic Kaito, but it's unlikely. Or there's the possibility that Detective Conan will be never ending. 
It makes too much money to stop.

If they were to do the first, I wouldn't mind it at all. I am very curious as to what Gosho's assistants would do with the characters, as there seems to be no sign of them ever being translated.

If it's the second option, then no. Just no. What Satelight did with Shugo Chara was horrific, and I wouldn't want Tv Tokyo to follow in suit.

...waiting in anticipation for File 800. Plus, some of the cases actually were plot-related (if only a few).
