The opening itself will begin on January 7th's episode but the CD won't be released until January 25th.

I doubt it. The case that will air at the beginning of january will most likely be the Karuta Cards case. Also, the ramen case has yet to be animated.

Miss Mystery =SERA?! Seems to obvious NO? and  the opening is going to last at least 2-4 month, enough time for Kaurta Card-Ramen-Sera1-Sera2 plus after this much AO and Kid this past few month maybe we get a lot of manga episode like this summer

A new opening? OK! I like the openings better than the endings anyways, so any announcement like this is a treat for me.

Besides, half the time they introduce new characters in the openings before the actual episodes, so all this tells us is that Sera will appear sometime while the opening is being used. Tooru will likely appear in the next one.
