This is the alternate timeline case after 635. The DC anime team thought of the brilliant plan to make both the canon ending and a new anime only ending at the same time! They've started with a seemingly pointless case though. Shame, I was hoping that old woman would end up being the big bad or that Conan would murdering Bourbon in her house to start this. Now can two Conans save the world from two murderers? Will he allow anyone else to do anything? CAN MEGAMAN VOLNUTT SAVE THE MAYOR?! FIND OUT NEXT TIME!

...well, anyway, we start off with ATTEMPTED CHILD MURDER WITH A CAR. Well I want him in jail for all eternity. If that was the point, they did an incredible job.

I really like having unique settings in cases, so I pretty much have to like this case. AO. Again. Honestly, I complain about Gosho but that's because he's proven to be a genius writer. However, I have little expectations so when they actually make something pretty good anywhere near consistently, I have to give props.

Well, er, anyway...the episode is fine. I don't have anything worthwhile to say beyond that.

Like Ep 635, that chef looked like a boy but it's actually a girl.

I loved this AO, the setting was great, the animation for the landscapes was nice, it has an engaging story and interesting characters. Two negative points : the animation of the faces and the music which was average.

I like how Conan hit it off pretty well with the little girl (he usually doesn't, with other kids!) haha…new competitor for Ayumi and Haibara!!! (in AO realm at least :p)

Aaaand, this is just a guess. but I think the culprit is..

And for the trick, maybe it has something to do with the drawings.

and oh, I love the part where Kogoro accidentally bumped his head on the wall. xD I didn't even notice that it was a painting at all! That would probably happen to me as well if I'm in his place. xD

There is a kid as the schemer of kidnapping in Ep 002 Company President's Daughter Kidnapping Case. File of Young Kindaichi had once a 12 years old kid as a murderer. DC anime director should never let a kid as a murderer of a case.
