I've been watching the weekly episodes since the late 300s'ish.

I can understand that too tired to watch any more portion I will always be like, ok one more and then I'm going to sleep.

Can't believe people's devotion to a series sometimes and having to catch up 500+ episodes in less than a year, you crazy "otakus" !!!

I might be one of the few old farts, as I rented VHS tapes from my local Japanese Video Store since episode 1 of Conan during college, and had to do that WEEKLY, which later became easier being able to download, but did that until 553+ episodes (quit when I got annoyed at the new Mouri Kogorou voice).  Stopped for 2 years or so and trying to catch up 100 or so episodes

But waiting a week is fine as long as you keep 4-5 weekly series that you watch regularly.

but yeah, it's a good show, hopefully it'll have an ending before I retire... -_-;

well... sometimes i have 4 hours a day to watch anime....

sometimes i can get 2 more if i dont go from office to eat lunch.. so.. with 6 hours a day......

indeed, the beginning of new anime seasons is the busiest for me as I tend to watch most new shows (at least 1 or 2 episodes) to see which ones are worth keeping up.

currently watching "Chihayafuru", "Kimi to Boku", "Tamayura Hitotose", "Working!! (2nd season)" for shows coming out this season. I need to finish catching up on Conan so I can watch the weekly. =D

the other series like baka to test or other like shana III i'll wait till it finish and subed and then i download them all and watch in a week

sorry for posting in an old thread but after reading this i couldn't help but to brag about the fact that i watched conan up to ep100 and that was like 6 years ago and then i've stoped....and a month ago i saw i had no life and desided to cath up,,,,and i've proudly watched 14 movies and 550 episodes in one hell of a month with just 6-7 hours sleeping and maybe 2 eating and resting eyes and the left is really all on my laptob watching!!!!! and i loved evrey minute of it,,,,,now all whats left is 651,,,,and the movie 15 wich i dont want to watch thim because then starts the agony of waiting!! so now am just rewatching the first 100 and my favorites like 345,,425,,304,,,etc,.
oh my god i really have no life,,,,and after this month i'll never miss any episode of this breath taking anime,,,,i just regret leaving it for 6 years and i hope it will forgive may after i have Sacrificed a month of my life 4 it

I feel sorry for anyone who caught up to the latest episode a year ago. Going from rapidly watching an absurd amount of episodes to watching mostly pointless episodes for a year and half, once a week at most probably gave people whiplash.

was basically exactly how it was for me. After my two-week marathon, I ended up pretty much immediately after Clash of Red and Black, and then nothing at all happened after that.
