important details in movies

as i watched the DC movies(currently going for number 6) i noticed details that on the surface seems to be very important, alomst manga related but since i know the movies are fillers i wanted to ask for your opinion. two major events just from the tip of my hat are the reason for ran's parents seperation and the fact that kaitou kid found out conan's real identity. are there anymore events like them? do you think it will make an impact on the manga\anime later on? etc

A lot of such "plot points" from the DC movies, OVAs, AOs, etc. are "neither confirmed nor denied" in canon until they actually are referred to in the manga. That is, you may assume they are real but there is nothing from the canon that says one way or the other.

the former might have happened (outside of the incredibly stupid explanation at the end) the latter never happened or happens chronologically after anything Gosho's written

I think Shinichi's birthday was first mentionned in the first movie then confirmed in a character panel from the manga
