On the other hand, Shinichi has that card hidden for only emergency cases.  And the fact that he doesn't want to endanger Ran.

But knowing Shinichi he will most likely quote Sherlock Holmes to justify himself, although I can't find a quote to match this particular situation. No wonder, since Sherlock wasn't really a women's man.

There are so many ways this could go. She does have to find out sometime or else it would get boring but that could be in the very very very distant future. There are so many different ways I played this out in my head. For his case I would say although I love it when the cat gets out of the bag by accident I really would prefer it to not be a accident. More like it's some situation where if he doesn't tell her then something bad would happen. It would definitely be an emergency when he does tell her. Mostly the way I would like it to go is it's one of those where it's all touching and your crying as you watch then maybe Ran breaks the beautiful moment by remembering something like "Wait a minute! I told you everything & you saw me..." Yeah ouch!
