But the bombs are really in the middle of nowhere and I don't see the culprit getting out of one corridor then climbing the concrete with his bare hands to put his bombs in plain sight. That's why I came to the very simple (and probably correct) conclusion that the anime team didn't give a damn about how the bombs were set. The bombs were there, that's all.
*imagines the culprit bringing a ladder and setting it up in the tunnel to place the bombs after putting up a roadblock sign saying "WARNING: Bombing in progress. Beware of ladder."

Real life example. When at Mt. Zao in Yamagata, I saw skiers (sp?) and not all of them wore goggles. Even high up in the mountain...so yeah. I saw snowboarders too. I wasn't there for those things, but I was riding up tot he top of the mountain, and it was way too cold for me. It was so cold at that altitude, that my boots weren't even warm enough.dilbertschalter wrote:Katty008 wrote:dilbertschalter wrote:as some who goes skiing quite a bit, i felt like the outfits were not very accurate. people were for the most part dressed too lightly (you had the classmate girl outside in a skirt (!) at one point).
She's a fifteen year old, and those have been known to make stupid choices for the sake of fashion. I'll have to respectfully disagree otherwise as well. I've found myself shedding my coat and sledding in just a sweater. And it depends vastly on the coat as well; I was wearing my mom's old coat for a long time and went skiing in two sweaters to boot. Then I got a new coat, and now ski in no sweaters.
a few things:
given that they weren't actually skiing, you are probably right about how much they were wearing (you can take layers off as you get closer to the bottom, especially if the skiing has been tiring, but they still wouldn't have been wearing enough)
what inspired to make the point, though, wasn't the clothes or the skirt (which i thought of later), but the goggles! the DB don't have goggles as far as i can tell, which seems like an oversight. goggles are really useful- they protect your eyes from glare, they keep snow out of your eyes when you fall, and they give you at least some visibility when it is snowy and windy (they even keep your hat on when it is windy, which is quite useful). they aren't an absolute must by any means, but someone conscientious like agasa (or haibara if he forgot) would surely see to it that the DB had goggles.
the skirt, well, it still seems quite unrealistic to me.

As for the clothes, I've seen Japanese girls wear short skirts in snow-like weather and I don't see how they do it. Being in Yamagata where it is cold during the winter and snows, it was weird seeing some girls (like maybe on Friday nights) walking around with shorts and boots just to be fashionable, but they were wearing tights and stuff.

But still, I liked this movie, found it better than 14.
