I feel attacked! /o\ To the weapons! *throws mold at Sherry86*
Just kidding XD

Sherry86 wrote:I wonder why you bring back Ai to this discussion whereas in page 5 you accused Ai fans always try to change Ran's topic to be Ai's topic.
I didn't bring back Ai. She was here all the time already anyway :P
Also, I wasn't just talking about Ai or mainly about Ai in that post. I was talking about Ran and comparing her to other characters, like Ai. But I also mentioned Sonoko.
This is a small bit significant difference.

Sherry86 wrote:For me, I prefer Ai fans opinion for Ai and Ran fans opinion for Ran because the people who can see Ai and Ran better are their fans. I'll respect their opinion more than people-who-called-themselves-neutral's opinion. IMO, if someone has the courage to like certain character and say it clearly, they are the best, and if someone has the courage to hate certain character and say it clearly, they are better than someone who called themselves neutral but call X fans or Y fans annoying.

Good thing I never called myself neutral :x Since I was called by others neutral :P
And I also like certain Characters, like Gin :V *throws mold at Kirite*

XD :-*

@IHKF
Okay, because my words have no logic, I give you words from FFn, "don't like, don't read". If you don't like seeing their behavior, don't waste your time seeing it.

@Kleene Onigiri
I hardly get any flame in FFn, and in dctp everyone seems polite enough, that's why I don't understand why people said that Ai fans or Ran fans are annoying and as Ai fans, I'm a bit offended by that.

Sorry if I look like attacking neutral fans.

The only way for me to like Ran, is if Gosho put her in a coma where she woke up as a tsundere.

Another public service announcement.

There is a difference between "I feel pissed off because of someone on the internet" and "I will start being rude and mean to the people on the internet because I feel pissed off because of someone on the internet".  The advantage of internet is, afterall, being able to have a time out before you post your reply.

Of course it's perfectly alright to have the occasional WTF YOU GUYS occasionally, a nice edit after you calm down or an apology usually helps to solve the problem

*glances at IHKF and wonders what has gotten into her today*  Did you not take your daily recommended dose of AyuCo or something? (I always have one of those first thing in the morning).  Saying that "lololol you must have low self esteem" or whatever you said seems a bit...ummm

Sherry86 wrote:Sorry if I look like attacking neutral fans.

*pats* aww it's okay.  I feel that it's fine to be an Ai fan or a Gin fan or a Yamamura fan.  Afterall we probably make up more then 80% of the fanbase.

(Cough KaiShin dominates the DC fandom COUGH)

As for those jaded neutral fans, who cares about those guys hurrrrr *shot*.  Haha kidding~...kind of.  Just remember you can only be responsible about what you think and what your own actions are.  Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.  If you want to change people's mind, you just be the best that you can be.

Kleene Onigiri wrote:I didn't bring back Ai. She was here all the time already anyway :P

OF COURSE!!! Wherever Ran is, Ai is always there!  SEE!! THEY'RE MEANT TO BE, IT'S DESTINYYYYY *shot again*

*dies from mold before dying from blood loss*

*makes sure to draw Ran's name and Ai's name under a love umbrella with blood before dying*

B-but Ran IS a tsundere o_o.

She doesn't call Shinichi disgusting Holmes otaku and kick him for nothing you know.

S-stupid Shinichi!  How dare you not eat the food that I made you!

Technically, Ran is a tsundere. According to TV tropes, there are two kind: The tsuntsun and the deredere. The tsuntsun is usually hot-headed, more prone to insulting his/her love interest and even other people, etc but will mellow out and be affectionate in certain situations. The most common examples are Taiga Aisaka, Kazuha Toyama and Shana. The deredere are the ones who are nice to everyone, but shift to the tsun personality from time to time, usually when they're jealous or when the love interest has done something they don't like. Examples are Ran Mouri and Keiko Yukimura.

Please please try and MESSAGE me if you want to continue an argument like THIS. It has no back to it either and I'm pretty sure some people in here would be peeved if somebody got a moderator in here fighting with us. :)

^Something that basically answers the thread...and is often forgotten

People don't really need reasons for the way their opinions are, that's why they're opinions.  :-\ Trying to "prove" your opinion to be "right" is really kind of pointless because...opinions can't be right. They also can't be wrong. That is why the opposite of opinion is fact: something proven and in stone.

In other words, opinions are something that can't be proven and can't be certain. I used to like Ran - I used to actually LOVE her (not too much, but she was coo') - and now I feel different. Might I like her again? Possibly: because opinions can change.

Getting mad at differing opinions is like exploding on someone because you don't want 2 + 2 to = 4. It's just...pointless. It might make an interesting, calm conversation to discuss how 2 +2 might not = 4 but it's nothing to boil over :P

Why do I get the feeling that some people here referring more to couples than the characters themselves? One can like both Ran and Ai, and it doesn't have any contradiction. Now, if someone thinks that liking Ai also equals liking AiCon equals hating ShinRan equals hating Ran, then that's a bit beyond the characters.

Well, just because you don't get flamed doesn't necessary mean others aren't D:
And you're taking it too personal too. It was said that there are some annoying fans in general. Doesn't mean you're too.
Being a Ai/Ran/Akai etc. fan doesn't automatically make you a nice person, or a person that doesn't bash other people D:

If she was like that in the beginning of the series, and is normally meaner than she is most of the time, Ran = top 5 chars
