I'm annoying for Magic Kaito TV broadcast clashed with DC too, looked it will continue in future for Magic Kaito anime, so it's a new way to widen the distance between DC manga and anime.

Apparently, according to the japanese you posted, 3 more specials will air by the end of the year (including the one airing on the 24th of september). I know it's to widen the distance but I'd rather have fillers or even remasters of older DC episodes instead. And I'm sure the MK fans would prefer a series too, because as it is it feels like the producers are reasoning this way : "Oh, by the way, we have some holes to fill in the time slot, how about an MK episode ?".

I wouldn't be surprised if the producers want to do a MK anime (They love him), but due to it's length it's not feasible and this is their way to have their cake and eat it too. 

I am happy with this, and it may lead to Gosho making more chapters on a somewhat regular basis.

I don't mind another Magic Kaitou episode for its a good way to delay the DC anime a little. I really hope they do an animated version of the little robot eyes thing. I love that chapter~

They'll probably finish volume 1 first (the robot eyes one is from volume 2), which means there's a 2 in 3 chance of it being awesome: The chapters left are the pirate submarine, Clockwork Heart (!!!), and Akako's first appearance (!!!!!).

I didn't, not really. It was just crazy, and unlikely, and really just an excuse to torture Kaito to hell and back with fish. Even with all the other craziness that happens in early MK, it just doesn't seem to fit to me. Besides, I totally want to see Clockwork Heart animated in all its terrifying, homicidal robot glory.
