They do that by now, right? When was the last time they were talking about treasures? The warehouse case or Kirins Horn? Well, in that case there really were treasures, right?
I wonder how much people skipped the DBs cases. They are nothing like they were in the beginning. I miss some aspects (The less "shy" and more tomboyish Ayumi for example) from back then, though they also had made a lot of progress.and when Ai's involved she'll give a long complicated reason not to go and they follow, she gives them a simple reason they stay or she just lets them do whatever. and yet when Conan would use the same reason Ai does to tell them to stay they obey her but not him. so for those reasons i'd hate to see them appear in a BO case.

for the advice parents do that alot too so should we not listen to them?
as for the BO i'd doubt anyone would pass following them. not even Takagi and Sato and the rest of the police since they are shady folks. i'd just hate to see the DB get involved since they are still a little reckless but not as much as they used to be. and i know that if they had to meet up with any one of them it should be Rena or Vermouth.

There is also an cannon case with a "hair dresser" where you could see the killer a mile away (with Eri as her alibi).
I like the differences in cases. The usual "four persons = 1 dead, 3 suspects" format gets old after a while. And the DBs cases are usually what mixed it up.
As I said, I also like the "treasure hunt" and "rescue" cases. A bit more danger/suspense and a bit more action at the cost of having a less complex mystery is a fine trade-off in my opinion.
whats really bad to me is when theres only 1 suspect. wheres the fun in figuring out if you already know who it is. i like those alternernate stories since those are still mysteries but a different kind.for the advice parents do that alot too so should we not listen to them?
But Conan is the "same age" as the DBs.
Parents at least use the "it's only for adults" (like alcohol or tobacco) or "you are still too young for it" (certain films/games). However, Conan can't do that. Or if he does, he at least has to follow his own advise.as for the BO i'd doubt anyone would pass following them. not even Takagi and Sato and the rest of the police since they are shady folks. i'd just hate to see the DB get involved since they are still a little reckless but not as much as they used to be. and i know that if they had to meet up with any one of them it should be Rena or Vermouth.
Rena? How far are you with the story? Though... nevermind.
About Vermouth: She had no scruples of burning Jodie in her house when she was still a child. Not sure what Vermouth would do. She might let them go, since they are Shinichi's/Conan's friends. Or maybe keep them as a way to put pressure on Haibara (or Conan). Or we would need someone really saving the DBs from her...

you could try...not reading the manga.. Manga rocks!

I'm just pulling your legs (mostly) guts but I don't want to derail the thread any longer.
