Which main character(s) is/are likely to die before DC ends

I am not saying that they shouldn't be in the plot, I just don't like them being IN THE ENDING.

Considering the climax is usually before the ending, that's the best place to also kill someone important.

I think people are just bored with the lack of real drama or anything lately and question if it will feel like they will truly earn their happy ending.

Actually, there are a lot of deaths of main characters nowadays :V


Vermouth is a possible candidate. Since she kinda betrayed the BO anyway. And it's likely she would try to protect Shinichi and Ran and could die in the process D:
Maybe Haibara. Tho I kinda doubt she'll die actually. Since gosho already did something like that in one of his previous mangas :x And it wouldn't be a happy ending like gosho wants. Maybe getting shot at and be in a critical condition, but not die.
I think Megure could die too D: If one of the "not involved with the BO ones" would have to die. He's police, so he could get into the conflict. And I doubt Gosho would separate Takagi and Satou. That's why Megure would be more likely to die ;_;

Vermouth is a good candidate. If it's true that Chris & Sharon are the same person, she might not like her condition right now. On how she's going to die I have no idea though.

Gin dying is too predictable. So it might be someone else, like Vodka? It make sense more if there are casualties on the BO part.

Rena might die if her cover is blown.

On a related note, I was sad when Akai was shot to death but so far the hint on him faking his death story is unsatisfying to me. It almost seems like it's better if the story said he died & that's it. If he's really still alive, I hope there is a good explanation on how he escaped etc.

Those high school pairs are very likely to live (Ran, Sonoko, Kazuha, & their respective pairs).
