No she means many people will watch it...... But angelranchan you should say it will be a hit on TV....

It's a "special", Kid hasn't shown up on TV (not including random re-runs) since April 2010, and assuming this is the "Big Day" episode that airs in the first week of August, it won't have been bogged down by other Kaitou Kid saturation.  It wouldn't be entirely surprising if it did insanely well (talking like... 12-17% ratings).

I really don't think it will do much better or much worse than the usual DC episode, between 8 to 10% seems about right.

Looking forward to this, as the special last year was pretty good.  Although I was hoping they would keep out the characters from the Detective Conan.  But judging from the last title, Conan will be in that 2-part episode.

That 2 part episode will be the animated counterpart of the case based on files 731-733, ANN made a mistake by mentioning 4 specials instead of 2.

@Zdm321 : I don't think a full TV series is around the corner. They'll probably keep airing one or two MK specials every year to fill the time slot when they're too close to the DC manga.

That's because ANN doesn't know what it's talking about.  The two episode at the end of August are a Detective Conan case, based on chapters 731-733.  They didn't even spell Ryoma's name right, and he's a real historical figure.

Ah, that explains the title.  I thought it was weird for that title if it was going to be a Magic Kaito special.  Looks like they still haven't corrected the story, even though their forums are pointing it out.

The Shônen Sunday Super (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sh%C5%8Dnen_Sunday_Super) of the upcoming week will feature some MK stuff among which a new chapter, some postcards and information on the specials airing in august.

The new chapter will thus not be part of the DC series (obviously since it's published in a different magazine),  this also explains why Gosho is taking a DC-break next week.
