Well, an interview this past year with Gosho Aoyama said he was going to do a chapter involving Kaitou Kid (and the Phantom Lady?) this summer.

"Summer Party" huh...? *thinking* It could be a completely new story. No manga chapters have anything remotely close to that name. Unless somehow they've changed the title of the "Blue Birthday" chapter and moved Aoko's birthday to summertime instead of September. But somehow I don't think so. (Also I think the title might actually be "Kaitou Kid's Summer Festival" since the word "matsuri" was used.)

As for the "Treasure Edition" judging from a Google translation of Koware's explanation it sounds like it's either an art book or just another one of those special collections of a handful of manga chapters just with some of the pages coloured. This is what Google translated a portion of Koware's explanation as: ""Favorite book reproduces a number of scenes in color With the notation."

I wonder if "Nonchalant Lupin" (prototype Kid story) will make an appearance in this book too? Last time it was published was in the compilation of 3rd Base Fourth.

AHAH! Found the info on Shogakukan's website. The Treasure Edition is a republication of Magic Kaito Volume 1 with some added bonuses. Below is the table of contents for the book:

From what I've just read in a prior post by Tanteikid the treasure edition is probably volume 1 of magic Kaito with a new front page or such and with or without the anime episode (I mean that you can pay extra for the anime episode or not, the prices are in Tanteikid's blog).
