man I am nearly at the end of this OVA and Slider is right. This is bad as that God awful AO- Aumi kidnapped in the way that it ends in big anti-climax way.... HMMMF >:(

I'm bored with...being bored with this OVA so let me defend the Ayumi kidnapping. That was early in the series, it was done well as a kidnapping case with Ayumi giving clues based on what she hears and the introduction of the skateboard. I mean, maybe defending it is a bit hypocritical, I see your point but it was Gosho's work, and early in the series, of course it was good. :p

still that dose not change the fact that that was only case I hated as soon as I watched it on TV.... ( on topic: I changed my mind about this OVA cause, at the end Ai owing Agassa was quite an epic moment... still it was only one good moment out of WHOLE OVA... )

Stop lying you watched that scene w/ Ayumi and Ai in the ending 50 times over.

There's nothing missing from the ConanTV version that isn't in the official release.

Wow.... This hurt my head...

What annoyed me more is that I PREDICTED who the people in black were like right after they were introduced! ARG! The only good part was Ai at the very end (made me smile I admit), and the Aicandy, which was admittedly quite cute. Just wish that was sherry and not ai....

The rest of it was so boring and predictable and was based solely on bizarre coincidences. I'm sorry but the ending does not make up for the entirety of the OVA....

Also... a cop praising a kid for doing something that could have been dangerous? BRILLIANT! Don't get the cops, just attack the potentially dangerous man by yourself! Great moral OVA team!

Since it is a still image... do you mean... look at it for 50 seconds... 50 minutes... 50 hours or just look at it 50 times? Be clear HADAA!

The only good part was Mitsuhiko's crackpot theories being spot-on. The rest was tedious at best and disturbingly loli at worst.

Personally, I find that OVAs are usually best done when they are in dream verse, where just about any scenario  is somewhat excusable without having any effect on the main storyline (Not that OVAs are canon, but the writers tend to avoid doing anything that might conflict with the main plot). Much more freedom is given to anything in dream verse (Thinking of OVA 9 over here)

This OVA--OVA 11--is essentially saved by Haibara and nothing else. The story idea is quite silly, and as mentioned by many people before, relies on far too many coincidences (Particularly the giant Grace Aihara coincidence out there). The policeman is questionable, and Ai seems a bit out of character at times. Usually kids get scolded for such actions. There's not much of a case in the OVA either, aside from Okiya looking suspicious and people in black looking suspicious topped with bizarre theories.

It lacks an interesting story as well, since the entire case idea was rather dull. I suppose with it being Ai centric, it was slightly better to watch than OVA 8. I suppose the entire point of this OVA was fanservice. Nothing much of interest seemed to be considered, which is somewhat disappointing, even for an OVA. Usually they do come up with something that is comedic at the very least (Not that I was overly fond of OVA 8). Regular interactions between Ayumi and Haibara over at Ayumi's house might create a more interesting scenario than what they've done for the OVA, but then again, that might just be me.

I think some of you are missing what saved this OVA, hiabara alone did not saved this OVA, it was both haibara and okiya that saved this OVA.
