Not sure if you included them, but a few cases have been skipped, and you know they'll go back to them.  One of which being a Kaitou Kid case.

Oh I didn't know that, a kaitou kid case? well, better than an AO :/  Usually nothing happens in Kaitou Kid cases though even though there's plenty of opportunity/potential

Kaitou can canonically dress up as Shinichi is what I'm really referring to.

I hope for remasters. I want more gorgeous-quality old episodes.

Same.  It'd be nice to have every important and/or popular case get remastered.  We still need Desperate Revival, the Diplomat Murder, and Moonlight Sonata, don't we?

Desperate Revival series with 6 episodes, then it will take 6 weeks for broadcasting these in remasters.

Moonlight Sonata already done in remaster on 22 Sep 2003.

In 2003, remasters were not in HD or in wide screen.

It's a shame that remasters =/= redraws, since it would be lovely to see the first few episodes (Namely episode 1, 2 and a couple of the earlier episodes out there. If only the Strange Person Hunt episode could have been properly redone at some point, but it's unlikely.) redrawn with better quality. Not much was changed aside from more censorship when they remastered Episode 1.

agreed with this. when I first heard "remastered episodes" i really thought they have redrawn the episodes...aww

If they have only redrawn past episodes and call it remaster.. Then this episodes will be worthy to be watch..

so anime that re show before 2004 is not remaster?

The first HD episode was 453 which aired on the 23rd of october 2006. Thus, before that, the remasters were not as we know them today.

Is this the closest the anime has been to the manga? If not, when were the other times?

And if it is..does it mean something..? Or am I making a big deal out of nothing - a part of me wants to say we should expect something big like 345 or Clash of Red and Black really soon...or that the ending is near?
