talking about germany...
today was the 69th volume published

the anime is dubbed until episode 308 (tv did 333 from that)
and this spring all movies were aired in dubbed version until movie 14 i think

rumors are that they soon start to continue the anime soon... but german tv is quite silly... and the viewership too.,.. they cut and translate anime in a way it is watchable for kids from 6 or 8 on... and they air it in the early afternoon... no wonder they have low ratings... cos of that OP doesn't get dubbed after 400 in near future.. and most probably DC will get dropped too after some episodes...  but since i like subs with japanese voices better i don't really care... especially after i heard vermouths dub in movie 13... urgh

I think you can say that DC is anime's answer to Mystery. While still having interesting characters, each episode presents a mystery which is often (not always) taxing to one's mental faculties. If the target audience is young teens (debatable), then the series prepares students to eventually become mystery readers. In fact, IMNSHO, it does a better job than most adult television programs. Kudoes to Kudo.

I like almost all the ideas I'm seeing so far.  I really apprentice the help with Conan in other countries.

As for the name of the panel I was thinking of maybe titling it "There is only one truth! - A Detective Conan Panel" or something like that.

Maybe talk about how things are interconnected in DC (well not really, lots of  the cases are fillers).

And you can talk about speculations of course (the Okiya/Akai debate), but it depends on your preference.

I'd like to add to what was said about Spain that the Detective Conan specials have also been released.

*comes back into thread after being absent on the forums for quite some time*

So yeah my Conan panel.  It's tomorrow and since it's my first panel ever I'm really nervous because I have a feeling I might forget what I want to talk about.  :X  I don't want to let the fandom down!  Wish me luck!  ;D

Ack, I keep forgetting to update this thread and I'm so sorry I that I do.  >.<

Anyway, for my first ever panel it turned out good.  I say good because I wasn't fully awake when I was doing it.  They had to put my panel at Sunday morning.  I was very shocked at how many people showed up for my panel since it was so early in the morning and on a Sunday to boot.  I ended up showing the first episode (sub) of the show and put in a good word for DCTP.  I might do this panel again next year at the same convention since it did very well.  :)  It made me happy to see how many fans there are of the show around here.
