Kidnapping Gosho!

I'm sure that got your attention. If you could kidnap Gosho for a day (figuratively), and take the manga in a new direction, which way would it be?

well, if it's just for a day, I wouldn't really be able to have him add more cases of a specific type like I want

so I'd probably just have some absolutely ridiculous event happen (what, Yusaku's not Shinichi's real father, who is instead... Kogoro?!) and see what Gosho does to get out of it in later files.

    I would like to see an episode concerning the female characters, with more character development. Ran and Sonoko, or Ai, could deduce some details the males would miss because they aren't women.  Too often the girls are just window dressing. Ran should have some skill beyond Karate, and Ai (GO AI!) has her some skills that should be used. Even Sonoko is a famous-ish detective.

Honestly, though, I'd ask him to write a case where the culprit doesn't actually have a motive and is just a homicidal maniac.

I like the way it's going atm, so I'd rather not kidnap him.

But if I had to: I'd like to have murderers whose motives are so comprehensible that even Conan is not sure anymore whether turning them in is the right thing to do.

I'd tell him to give Shinichi more fighting ability. Also tell him less childhood love stories (or any love stories for that matter) and more BO! Specifically more Gin.

Legendary karate master (founder of Ran's school) is killed under mysterious circumstances. Ran and Conan must investigate! Beware the wrath of Ran, whoever did it!
That might be worth the inevitable arrest for kidnapping. I wonder if they get Conan in color in minimum security prisons.

Fortunately, you won't be able to kidnap him and that is good. Most of the ideas proposed by fans are just horrible, if they were realized, the series would be completely ruined. It's better if Gosho keeps it going as it is now.
