I'm glad Takagi was IC though, I was a bit worried they'd mess up his characterisation or the actor would get it wrong...

I was so happy to see Takagi and Sato.  I'm trying to load the third part, so I haven't seen it all yet, but... So far, I'm impressed!  I've got such low expectations for Japanese Dramas, but this is actually pretty good.

It was a decent case. Takagi looks old, but he is cute, so is Sato. The culprit guy was quite good too.
Can't wait for the next case.

But, what the hell is with that white-box? Would they die, if they did not put something absurd in a Live Action. Why can't it be just Shinichi's random cases without this?

If it were just random cases, there would be no main story, and that would be an epic fail. J-Dramas usually only run for about 15-Episodes max...

I can't wait for the next episode for this.. episode 1 is way far better than the previous live actions..

^ This. It's pretty good, and I was able to get the same "Detective Conan" feel to it. The case was a hell lot easier, but it was still able to keep me on my toes. ^^ Looking forward to the next ep!

I agree with you! ^^ Before I saw LA 3, I was pretty doubtful if he could give the role some justice, but after watching LA 3 and especially after watching the second ep of the series, I have to say:

He's doing it right.

The spoon bending thing made me laugh, but moar lulz went to the explanation of the shape-memory alloy. I think my plot bunnies multiplied ten-fold after that. XD

Just watched it now and I figured it out quite early, but the stuff with Kogorou and his speech thing at the end made up for it... well, I hope the next one is as good. I've only seen LA 1 so I don't know know how well Eri is acted...
And the shadowman bit was... weird. I liked that it wasn't cyanide though...

don't know what to say about this 2nd episode..the case is good..but i can't shake these thoughts off..

there's been a murder yet no one called the police,they even continued broadcasting the show
they move the body! and just put it in a corner,what the heck was that?
then Shinichi touching potential evidence barehanded,even let Ran used it.

and Ran is still acting like Sonoko possessed her..really..
