It was around the same quality of the last case, except one thing hurt the ending instead of MANY things hurting the whole case. I'm far from the best person to describe why a case works well but it certainly did. A classic police-less case with the detective boys wandering around, good little story about young geniuses (glad they didn't put in the obvious comparison), a really silly but still awesome return of the soccer ball of death and maybe I'm pessimistic but I'm surprised they allowed a story in the anime where a little kid was kidnapped, almost murdered (and the visual of a child's coffin) and the kidnapper ends up trying to commit suicide.
But that mother is a complete idiot. "It's ok that a man kidnapped and almost murdered my son, cause he's smiling!" I mean, what the hell?
Anyway, the next case is the most known spoiler since Scar Akai and so far the anime this year has been far better than it has had any right to be. Hell, maybe if we're lucky, they'll completely avoid that horrible, stupid case that needs to never exist.
