You know, if you look at the first File, it's more or less just a curl/bump It's kind of crazy how it's evolved into something that could cut a tomato.

oh!! i love ran's hair!! it's unique!!!  >:D  its hard to find a hair with megahorn..u know!! i also wanted my hair to be like that..but..gel doesn't work!!!  :-[  but i found a very good and cute cosplayer,who that can copy conan and ran's hair!!

The triangle part on the back of Shinichi's hair was actually Ran's horn that got stuck :P Ran's horn can regenerate though, soo...

hmm how about this... when Ran and Shinichi were kids, they were fooling around playing and Ran headbutted Shinnich on the head... then her 'horn' got stuck and the Docter had to cut it off. Then it regrew as part of Shinnichi's head

I have had my hair get like Ran's if I've slept funny on wet hair, so it isn't impossible.
(getting it out of your hair after it happens, now that is the impossible part.)
and Shinichi's triangle is just a stylized rooster-tail.
please, just call me Snake if the full name is too much.
(surely that's not too much to ask?)

i know why ran regrew/regenerated!! she leveled up. that's because she used headbutt attack on shinichi and she gained expi. LOL
