ok, so the conversation here is pretty interesting.
(I take back what I said about feeling sorry for Gosho, I'll just sit here shaking my head and laughing.)

Thinking about this, it actually makes her look more like a unicorn. :V

I've just been daydreaming of a crossover in which Ran goes to Hogwarts and finds her horn has special powers. Take that, Cho Chang.

With her martial arts training, is it possible she has weapons stashed in that cone? Automatic weapons? Is it some kind of crystalline ray weapon like Gojira?

half of a kunai...a kunai is diamond shaped, while hers is a triangle(conical) one~

I have a theory about that horn... its for her hidden attack MEGAHORN... ( I can imagine Ran using this move  ;D)

If I can possibly go to DC World for a visit.. the first thing I want to do is check Ran's horn. I want to find out if it can possibly stab someone :P

i think ive finally figered it out!!!
the horn is there to blind ran so she cant see conan is shinichi! :o
conan probably instaled the horn on ran while she was sleeping one night! :o
