If it means anything to anybody, it's out already, with Chinese subs.

So if you know Chinese you can determine the plot for yourself.

Just flipping through it since I don't feel like watching the whole thing right now, but here goes.  Don't read if you don't want massive spoilers.

Spoiler: OVA 11 spoilers, don't read if you don't want to be spoiled
Mitsuhiko suspects Haibara of something.  I missed the beginning of his theory and don't feel like going back to it, but it seems like there's some American fashion model with a name similar to Haibara's with similar tastes.  He now suspects that Haibara might be famous or lying about her age and possibly name, I guess.

Haibara's favorite sandwich is peanut butter and blueberry jam.

Ayumi and Haibara put on makeup.  Haibara has to correct Ayumi's... "style".

Mitsuhiko now suspects Haibara to be a spy from MI6, being targeted by the mafia.  Guess the model that he suspects her of being is named "Grace Aihara".  Grace sounds very similar to Gray(s).  Keep in mind, Gray is "hai iro" in Japanese, so he reworded that to Ai Haibara, hence why he's suspecting her.

You just need to know that it makes OVA 8 look good.

fixed...for me anyway

If I had to choose, I'd pick OVA 8 over this one. It's not that this one is.......bad, it's just........anti-climatic (not that 8 wasn't)

That's only because so many of you had these huge expectations that this would be an epic of legendary proportions, revealing every hidden facet of Haibara's past and who Okiya really is.  Of course it's going to be horrible when you set up impossible situations like that for it to reach.

Spoiler:
So how many times has the "this character gets mistaken for Ai" concept been used? Like 5 or 6?

Not at all. I was expecting something bad given that's it non-cannon material, but this was worse than bad. At least OVA 8 had some funny moments which worked more or less, where as all the jokes in this one failed miserably (I'm not even going to mention how lame the story was). Oh, and that final image is just weird...

As far as I can remember, only once by Gosho. The anime people however have used it over and over.

Indeed, I don't know why I didn't remember the case we've just had.
