B'z song "Don't Wanna Lie" to be Movie 15 theme & the next O

I already posted this in the Movie 15 topic, but this is such great news that it also deserves its own topic. If true, it will be confirmed in this week's Shounen Sunday.

The single for "Don't Wanna Lie" will be released... at some point in the future (if indeed it becomes a single, it may just be released as an album song). Originally, it was interpreted it would be out April 16th, but that's likely just a reference to the movie's release date (it's also nearly impossible, as B'z has a single coming at at the end of this month already).



This is looking quite legit.

(And again, I don't mind if it's been posted before. It's B'z, and it's Conan)

Further Update! Starting April 30th (just over two weeks from the movie's release), "Don't Wanna Lie" will also serve as the next OP!

Good news. Though it's too bad they didn't use it either for an opening or an ending theme.

They seem to use B'z for all the significant anniversaries, they had already used Yuruginaimono Hitotsu for movie 10.

According to the new B'z site update, Don't Wanna Lie will also serve as the new TV OP starting April 30th.

I knew the "Tear Drops" OP wouldn't last that long and I'm glad it's B'z that is replacing them.  Hopefully this means a new ED will be announced soon too.

B'z as an opening song is very good news, but I hope they actually bother to do a nice opening this time. They won't even have to aim very high given that it's going to be replacing an opening which most fans hate.

Their last opening, Shôdô, was the 17th one. It was used for episodes 425 to 437 which aired at the beginning of 2006, thus it's been 5 years.
