I don't know her, and the photo doesn't show this.
IMO Kogoro and Megure are the only characters that had good actors, maybe algo Agasa.

According to what might be Veganica's source for Detective Satou's live action actress, Yuichi Tsuchiya will be playing Takagi.

Satou's actress would be 25-26, then. She does appear a bit on the young side, physically. We won't know about her acting until we actually see her. Although, compared to Takagi's actor, there's quite an age difference.

The image of the actor provided doesn't seem to capture Takagi's character. He usually seems to lack confidence--something that doesn't feel to be there in the photograph, but time will tell when the drama actually comes out.

I feel that Kutsuna Shiori is not a bad actress. Ran seems fairly in character for most part, excluding the excessive near love scenes in LA 3. Several other roles done by Kutsuna Shiori in other dramas weren't poorly done.

I've only seen Ueno Natsuhi acting in 2 roles diametrally oposed to how Satou but the actress at least has a fairly long acting career and could pull off the age of Satou... about the character and personallity on the other hand... I wish she actually reads part of the manga/watches part of the anime before the shooting starts... it definitely would help to make the live action drama a bit less pathetic or so I hope.

EDIT: Actually I've seen 3 dramas with her... I had forgotten about the infamous 4 Shimai Tantei Dan (where she acted the role of the almost mentally-challenged sister).

(It feels like Takagi is looking a little too old for his role, but that might be just me. It simply doesn't stand right with the incredibly young looking Satou next to him. Eri seems to look younger than Takagi.)
