In all seriousness, though: Either Conan is really, really forgetful, APTX really did a number on his memory, or the time lapse from episode 1 to episode 28 is far greater than we could have ever imagined (even though it's only been a "few months" by the 500s). Your call, team!

this forgetfulness was probably due to his brain short-circuiting after seeing the events of the ending, as can be seen in almost every episode of the anime.

Ran: "I saw a kappa in the river!"
Conan: "Silly Ran, there's no such thing as the supernatural... there's no such thing... there's no such thing..."

also, the culprit had some really really good aim with that mechanism.

New Ran is just great - cute, pretty, fragile. Sonoko and Kogoro are okay, as usual. About Eri - the actress is okay, but I really don't know why they made her a comedy character like Kogoro. O_o I mean, in manga she's serious nad mature, in LA... Just weird.
What I don't like - new Shinichi (I miss you SHUN!!!) and that they needed to make two "almost" kissing scenes. It's idiotic, because it's not based on manga. :[ Besides, Eri should have been there too - if Shinich saw her 100 day before becoming Conan, he would have recognized her in manga. :/

I agree. I think Eri was to out of her character, she doesn't act like she does in the anime nor in the manga. And I think Oguri Shun played much better the role of Shinichi and he was more suitable for it. As for Ran, I think she was OK. And I'm glad that they used the same actor for Kogoro. I love how he plays this character.

I can't say I didn't like this LA, but I liked more the other two.

I can't wait for the Drama Series. I wonder if the atmosphere will change since it's geared towards a more mature audience. Heiji's confirmed an appearance... but I want to see Takagi Wataru and Sato Miwako in there. XD

Well... if you can tolerate the 'improvisation' done by the actors, it's ok. Plus, on SP2, it's the only time Shinichi and Shiho in their real forms interact.

I agree also..Eri become a comedic one..and I don't like her screaming loud when they see a lizard (?) on a trunk?? geez..and Ran don't look scared there..and in manga,in first appearance of eri,conan said that its almost ten years that he could not remember her face..so..she should not be a regular character..but I like the Eri!! she's great,she really looks like Eri (but not Eri's glass)..its just that thing..
as for Ran..i like her but..she's too cool,and..Shinichi and Ran are not that romantic!!! >. and if they are romantic..its just in their own imaginations (episode 1) (maybe they are romantic because of the legend?)
Junpei's funny face is good!!
Gosho should be the director of this movie and the upcoming drama series!!  (half disappointment,half happiness)
but.. I'm really looking forward to the drama series bwahahaha!! go KOGORO!! he's the best!! (pascaruuuuuu!!)
-please more improvement charas!! they should know more and study the traits of the chara's..and THE BANGS!!! (as for Ran..she don't need that "horn" thing..
