Speaking of which, does anyone know where I can find a full version of the ending song? It doesn't come up in youtube at all...

i dunno, there were a lot of tracks that i liked, but at the same time i felt like the transitions were jarring and sometimes themes were used at inappropriate moments.

as for the case... in what cannot be described as a surprise it was bad. it was fun at times, sure, but the whole horror vibe didn't really click for me. also, the reveal and the evidence used were pretty lame (not too surprising for a live action i guess) and the murderer's identity was just plain stupid to be honest. also, my favorite character got relegated to the sidelines and eri was incredibly unlikeable- the stupid twitch was annoying and not in a good way.

"The energies of our system will decay; the glory of the sun will be dimmed, and the earth, tideless and inert, will no longer tolerate the race which has for a moment disturbed its solitude. Man will go down into the pit, and all his thoughts will perish. The uneasy consciousness, which in this obscure corner has for a brief space broken the contented silence of the universe, will be at rest. Matter will know itself no longer. 'Imperishable monuments' and 'immortal deeds,' death itself, and love stronger than death, will be as though they had never been."

I wonder how Japanese people mourn, I mean do they have mourning clothes? I mean this LA made things weird, the brother died and every body is just sitting down nicely having breakfast, with full colourful clothes and make-up?

You helped me express the proper feeling about the case. As bad as ever. I face-palmed and yawned a lot, actually.

:3 Eri in manga would never be so friendly towards Kudo like that. She would rather stare at him or observe him carefully.

Speaking about lameness, did the falling-into-the-hole amuse you? I mean the hole was that deep, and they survived without a single scratch = =

And yeah, as kholousafir mentioned, they had dinner after the 2nd son's death :3. Perhaps it was characterized as a murder (the same went with the previous one) so the body must have been kept in custody. They couldn't begin the mourning period without it, right? (In my country they do that way)

As I mentioned to Jd-, my favorite part is when Kudou goes, "I'm going to figure this case out!"... and then walks away from the scene of the crime.

I find it horrible. There are no directing and no script at all.

Ran and Shinichi are just soulless plain wood in this one due to the lack of dialogues.

I'm glad they keep the old actor of Kogoro and created a decent Eri.

I say the first two drama are better. The only positive thing this time is that it shows various kinds of locations and decors maybe.
Sorry but i've really hated it.

I don't stop being a D.C. fan by the way. Forever my destiny!

Cases need dat solvin'!

I dunno if it's been brought up in this thread yet, but as Abs. and I were talking about the other day: There is one pretty glaring continuity flaw in the premise to this drama. This takes place 100 days prior to Kudou shrinking, and yet... here he's recently rendezvoused with and even spent vacation time with Eri (yes, I phrased this sentence this way to make it mildly inappropriate). This is obviously entirely at odds with the entire plot of episode 28.

In all seriousness, though: Either Conan is really, really forgetful, APTX really did a number on his memory, or the time lapse from episode 1 to episode 28 is far greater than we could have ever imagined (even though it's only been a "few months" by the 500s). Your call, team! :o

Spoiler:
Or... nobody at YTV/NTV/Gosho decided to mention this fact, or they forgot.
