Haha, the LA aren't THAT bad!  I mean, if you're expecting something amazing, then yeah, but if you're just watching for fun and to drool over Shun then they're great!
I agree...Toma as Shinichi would have been pretty epic.  Although, I would have said the same if he were cast as Heiji, KID, Hakuba, some-random-guy-who-dies, Ayumi...pretty much anyone.

Rhythm Zone’s popular girl group DREAM has been chosen to sing the theme song for legendary anime series Detective Conan’s special drama, “A Challenge to Kudo Shinichi ~ The Mystery of the Legend of the Monster Birdâ€

Story :



The story takes place 100 days before Shinichi Kudo became Conan. The high-school detective Shinichi Kudo, Ran Mouri and the others arrive at a village in the moutains. In this village, there is a legend about a giant bird who attacks the villagers, it is known as "The legend of the giant bird. Furthermore,  a festival to calm the spirit of the giant bird is to be organised in 3 days.

When a friend of Sonoko's dad, M.Wakura, shows them the temple of the village, the murder of M.Wakura's assistant which refers to the "legend of the giant bird" takes place. The people of the village think it is a curse.Later, the second son of M.Wakrura is also killed.

Shinichi will have to solve the "legend of the giant bird"of the village and the serial murders.
