Hm, it´s true. Well she is the faihful and totally loyal girl who waits for and already have a Price Charming. Why should she look out for other boys?
It´s uncommon cause a girl would be maybe more like Sonoko who has a boyfriend but still looks at what the world "could" offer to her.
It´s kinda boring actually: A Men who she showed some real interest into, who could be a real rival to Conan/Shinichi and not some dayfly would give a bit pepper in her relationship. XD
I mean for Conan/Shinichi we "have" Ai, meaning some of us could thinks of them as a couple. But for Ran we have nobody. Kinda unfair. XP

Maybe it´s really time that we talk about the guy which both girl (in Ai case maybe?) fell in love. So Heiji (or Kaito) would be a good basis point to begin with.
I think that Kudo does check the feelings of the girls, he only doesn´t get it when they have affection towards him until they showed him clearly like Ran with her "confession" or Ayumi with her kiss and thougts about marriage. If Ai really loves Conan/Shinichi we can be almost sure to see something or to read something that will clearly stand that fact. 8)
To be honest, i think that Heiji stands more on the pipe than Shinichi. XD
