This should go without saying but, spoilers!










































































Just to be different, Pros and Cons from me!

Pros:
-Every actual Conan character was awesome (especially Kid). As usual. Jirokichi even was far less terrible.
-A couple of nice classic Conan songs OTHER than the Conan theme.
-Takagi doesn't stopped becoming way too white.
-The "Kid makes Ran believe he is really Shinichi" story was really clever and made this part of the story far more interesting than I expected. Maybe not original as I've never seen movie 8?
-Having a 2nd group behind the terrorists was a cool twist.
-Outside of before Ran noticed her bandage on someone else and maybe the last 10-20 minutes, it was nonstop fun.
-They didn't waste time on trying to figure out who Kid is. After the last 2 Kid cases, thank you thank you thank you.
-Most of the characters did something...however...

Con:
-...the lack of Ai and Kogoro doing much was bullcrap.
-While it was cool in some ways, the 2nd group of terrorists felt random and tacked on.
-Conan > Guns.
-The last movie was a fluke when it comes to remembering past continuity.

The movie was ok until Conan began dodging a gazillion gun shots in the usual "hollywood action movie like scene" which ended up lasting an eternity. That's when I began asking myself if they were going to go even further in the absurd than movie 13. And to my disliking, they did.

This movie was awesome. I didn't expect it to have more cool moments than Movie 13 but it had a lot more. It was very amusing seeing Conan take down more than 2 guys since in the manga that's usually his limits. May I remind you all of the skateboard moment? Awesomenessssssss. I wish someone say him do all those cool acts, though.

I am also upset at the lack of Ai....very upset....especially at the fact that she got slapped? I found that very unnecessary.

Now the Kid moments were amazing as well. I loved how he saved Conan from falling and tricked ran into thinking Shinichi is Kaito Kid. Shinichi as Kaito Kid? That would be awesome.

Overall I enjoyed the movie, but again lack of Ai was a huge disappointment.

BEST MOVIE. EVER.

In the DC series that is. Movie 13 was a huge disappointment for me.

Now, while it is true that Ai didn't get much scenes, the scenes that she DID appear in were awesome.

Her eating cake. Cute.

And Kaito+Conan= THE ULTIMATE DREAM TEAM. I would like to see another movie or episode or chapter with Kaito and Conan together.

Kaito was probably the best part of the film. Him, out in broad daylight, while petting a goat was awesome. (Props out to whoever will make an avvie or gif out of it.)

Over all rating of the film: 9.5/10

I almost forgot the only other problem I had. It was way too obvious that the real leader was a bad guy and that at least he wasn't actually infected. Didn't think no one was but that's probably a good thing as the only other option would probably have been "cure is conveniently found yay!"

Like Movie 6 or I guess 13, it sucks as a Conan case but really good for a movie.

But I liked the defenestration scene.
