I saw the movie and I love it!

what's good about it: very emotional at the end, high action scenes (one of the best in the series!), and some good laughs (not too over like movie 14 which I thougth was a bit too much)

What's not so good: still going downhill for the entire movie series, not suspensful, uninteresting case, a lot of unnecessary/boring scenes, simple but at the same time wierd and confusing deductions

I'm a super huge fan so I always expect way too much in Conan. Lately the movie series is going in a awkward direction, meaning it's trying to attract younger audiences by putting scenes of intense action and a simpler case. It did not work because the case turned boring and illogical (even more confusing). Detective Conan is about the case, but now I'm just going for the action which only appears a few times.

I really hope the series would change back to it used to be, before movie 10 (movie 11 is the first "boring" case, then is just went downhill after that, movie 13 was awesome just because the Org. was there to support it)

movie 16 seems to be about sports, let's see if it will surpass movie 15!

I didn't enjoy it all that much. I somehow preferred movie 14. This one was almost as bad as the pirate one to me. D:

To summarize : quite good in the beginning, mostly boring in the middle (which is problematic since the middle lasts around 50-60 minutes), good at the end.

Still better than movies 14 and 13, but not as good as movie 12.

Can you say, without spoiling anything of course, exactly why you think  that the movie is better then 13 and 14, but not 12?

Also, how was the movie's murder case?

Thanks.

I tried to do an explanation with as little spoilers as possible. I don't reveal anything about the culprit or how the story works so unless you don't wan't to know anything (even what kind of scenes the movie has), you can go ahead and read.
Spoiler:
I found the 2 previous movies were average (13) or lame (14) because they were filled with rather annoying action scenes that didn't really serve any purpose (and were even OOC in the case of movie 13) and because I'm not a fan of movies which focus on a guest character, whether it's the BO, Kid or Heiji and give us a lot of fanservice (which I'm not fond of) instead of developing a good case. The humour in movie 14 also sucked, the scene on the blimp was downright pathetic and I could not believe DC had gone so low. Movie 15 does have some action scenes, but those are mostly at the end (+ one at the beginning), and some fanservice (mostly ShinRan and CoAi which is better than DC yaoi or OOC BO fanservice IMO); furthermore the humor seem better, although very classic. However, the issue I had was that the case seemed very average (I prefered movie 12's) and not very developed,  therefore the middle of the movie was filled with pointless scenes like the DB going shopping or having a snowfight (note that this movie has A LOT of DB scenes). Overall, I'd rank it about as the same level as movie 9 : some pretty good action scenes, not too much fanservice (because the movie only has the main cast) but quite a disappointing murder case. It gets a 12-13/20 from me at best.

It's like they took 4 different episodes that have already been done in the DC series and threw them all into one! D:

I agree Conan is adding a bunch of action scenes to make the movie fun to watch even though earlier movies are more interesting without too much action. Lately the entire movie is kind of boring (I admit sadly )with a bunch of pointless scenes. BUT I don' tunderstand why you think movie 12 is different, to me it's excatly the kind of movie that is boring throughout and worse, no action at all! PLUS, the movie is so predictable with no surprise at all. The ending just sort of drags on with the murderer wants to shoot that guy and ends up crying on the floor ==''' the bombs didn't do anything AT ALL!! The entire case was too easy for Conan compare to movie 10 and 8 where luck is not on their side (which makes the movie good, we want to see difficult situations!!)
I was so afraid that in movie 15 conan would stop the bomb ruining the perfect disaster scene!!
