This should have just been Movie 3, with Kid replaced with Lupin characters. THAT would have been awesome.

That... would actually have been amazing. May I suggest further awesome? Don't replace Kid with Lupin and co. Replace all the randomers on the boat who were only there to muddy the waters of who the murderer was with Lupin III characters. I want to see a shootout between Jigen and Scorpion, or a meeting of Lupin and Kid.

I saw this movie in Japan a few days ago. Didn't blow my mind, but it was not bad. The visuals were freakin awesome though, definitely the aspect I enjoyed the most.

definitely somewhere in the middle… it was on the better side of average, but I doubt it will be many people’s favorite among the movies. it did have some nice touches, but overall it was nothing awe-inspiring.

I saw it in Japan too and I would have to agree with that view. It doesn't stand out much from the others. I also found the prologue was very action packed and it didn't really fit in with the pacing of the rest of the movie.

That's good news in my book. Action for 10 minutes at the end = ok, action throughout the whole movie = bad.

It was probably deleted because the title says "no spoilers" and having a video with the culprit and the end of the movie in it is sort of the ultimate spoiler.

Agreed with the no spoilers portion.

The movies do tend to emphasize the action excessively--far more than Gosho does. This movie still seems promising.
