Vermouth?...

Post by grone4ever89 »

I was wondering what Vermouth's real name is... it's Sharon Vineyard right?... if it's so then who is Chris Vineyard? Wasn't Chris in episodes 176-177 (Meeting with the Black Organization Again) with Tequila? I've also read somewhere that Chris is Sharon's daughter... so who was actually in those episodes? was It Sharon in disguise of Chris?
then what happened to Chris Vineyard, the daughter Sharon?

ohhh I see then i might have misread it or something... so that does that mean that Yukiko knows who Vermouth is? because Yukiko and Sharon (Vermouth) were learning disguise right? did Conan ever tell Yukiko who Vermouth is?

I have the idea that It will have to do with Haibara's parents, they probably made a drug for it, when she was about to shoot Haibara, Vermouth told her to blame her parents that had started all this.

LOL, I don't think it's quite as deep that fellas. I'm pretty sure we already know she's a master of disguise/makeup, so it won't be much of a shock when in episode 853 Vermouth's skin falls off to reveal that she's an old woman

Yep I reall don't think is that simple, I mean she moves pretty quickly to be an old lady under all the make up and stuff, and will she really be wearing 2 disguises at the same time?? For example when she was Araide Sensei, she was Vermouth underneath and an old lady under that?? and going back again to the being quick part, it would be really hard to move with all that and being an old lady

Vermouth is BOTH Sharon AND Chris Vineyard and uses disguises to hide her real age according to Conan's deduction. (Vol 42 File 10)

Her real identity (Sharon Vineyard) has been "killed off," most likely so it is more difficult to track down her crimes.
Since she killed Jodie's parents around 20 years before for the Black Organization, it is not inconceivable that at least one of her numerous crimes during the many years caught up to her.

Chris Vineyard is her name she uses while working as an actress "on the side." It is doubtful that Vermouth has a real daughter, so Chris Vineyard may not have been a real person to begin with.

Recall that she was Yukiko Kudo's friend while they were both actresses, so Vermouth is actually around Yukiko's age. (Around late 30s to early 40s)

If she was let's say 35 now she would have killed Jodie's parents at 15, I don't think it's possible, she most likely took a drug by the BO, When Jodie saw her she actualy asked her Why she didn't age.

ive always thought that the drug was never meant to be an assassination drug - its always meant to be a youthening drug. haibara said herself that she didnt know she was making a deadly drug. most likely the organization saw the deadly effects of the imperfect drug, and started using it. maybe vermouth was a successful test subject of the drug, and changed from sharon to chris

if that's the case, Conan and Ai should be dead ages ago.

You will recall from the Jodie-Vermouth showdown they commented "That's her real face..." when it got nicked with a bullet or something and started bleeding. So she evidently isn't aging for whatever reason.

Personally, I think she's been around since the Dark Ages. Back then they called her Morgan la Faye.  ;D

35 is not late 30s.

Vermouth was in her late teens to early 20s when she murdered Jodie's parents, it is most likely a sort of "initiation ceremony" into the Black Organization. Rena Mizunashi had a similar assignment in Vol 49 File 2. (Episode 425 in the anime)

As Sharon Vineyard, Vermouth established the character of Chris Vineyard at least 10 years prior to the Detective Conan storyline, "I haven't seen her in nearly 10 years." (Vol 35 File 2)

Ok, let say she was 18 then she is 38 now, I still don't see that happening, why would Jodie want to know why she didn't get old, if you look at the flashback she looks the same then as she does now.
