Opinions on the OVAs?

Omg the fact that Ran waited for him for 10 years killed me I was literally sad for the whole day DD8.  I'm a complete sap to sad things and I cry easily xD.  I mean if she was living fully while waiting for him I would be happy or if she didn't look at her memories as something painful then it would be okay.  I just don't like her characterisation that much (once again, Shinichi's dream so...meh?).

She should just be in the Guiness World Records. The most patient girlfriend in the world.

I don't know why people disliked OVA 9.  Seriously, how do we know that Ran would wait for him that long?  Even I couldn't see Shinichi making her wait that long.  Besides, the whole thing was a dream and foreshadowing, imo, that if he doesn't do something, he will end up losing Ran.

Why I dislike it? Well, pretty much for the things you mentioned. Like I said, it was like my biggest nightmares were animated.

and i want to know shy Ran didn't believed in conan when he said "i'm shinichi" and take off his classes? she had pictures of him,but she didn't recognized him?
by the way the fact that she would wait for 10 years again looks more and more unrealistic,(it made me sad when i saw the OVA,but after more thinking ,i found that kinda annoying and repetitive) 
but then again it was a dream,so even if it doesn't make sense,it wasn't the reality!

Ran didn't believe Conan when he said he was Shinichi because:

a) Shinichi is SUPPOSE to be 28, not 18.

b) In the dream Ran watched him grow up from an 8 year old to a 18 year old.  She already knows he looks just like Shinichi.  But to her he's just little Conan-kun.

c) Conan proved multiple times he wasn't Shinichi in the story, I doubt she'll believe him if he comes up to her in his Conan form and out of the blue say he's Shinichi (LOL). 

Conan: *as a 10 year old* I'm Shinichi!

Ran: Sureee you are <3.  You act just like him.

Conan: .....

d) HE WAITED 10 YEARS TO TELL HER IN THAT DREAM (massive facepalm).  If he's really Shinichi he would have said so earlier!!1!

For me the OVA was just badly executed.  It could have been dramatic if it wasn't so unintentionally hillarious xD.  Plus the fact that Ran for him so sadly for 10 years is D:

but since she suspected a lot of times that conan=shinichi,i was sure that the only thing she need to prove what she think is to have conan saying"i'm shinichi" 
(like in vol 26,she want to wait  that conan tell her the truth instead of telling him her suspicions)

but still,i didn't like this OVA for many reasons....

She did suspect lots of time Conan = Shinichi, in fact I think she suspect him right now in the story xD.  But to keep her safe Conan would have to prove he wasn't Shinichi ;O.

Plus in "Deperate revival" Conan and Shinichi were in the same place at the same time.  It'll be hard to disprove since the logic of a 18 year old shrinking to a 8-ish year old is hard to believe in the first place.  As to her waiting for Conan to tell her the truth.  If Conan disproves to Ran that he isn't Shinichi then she'll naturally be waiting for "Shinichi" to come back (if he wasn't dead already D8).

But I also thought it was horribly sad and depressing and... just gave me a bad feeling. Although I´m usually not one to like Happy Ends, it kind of represented almost everything I don´t want to happen in DC
(and I really don´t like the romance in DC...)

enough for it to be my fave ova yet...its not like the other ones were incredibly either though, so it doesnt really have that much competition

- i really got annoyed in that part . even if it was a dream.  lets just say that the time she waited for shinichi in reality is only few monthes , because they didnt grow up . she suspected him in few monthes , three times . if not more . so in 10 years she propably suspected him more and more . , and when he takes the glasses , he looks EXACTLY like shinichi , and he has the same bloodtype. come on what does she want more , take his fingerprints ?! i know its just shinichi's dream, im not a fan of Ran's charcter , but i think shinichi is underestimating her , remmember when Ai told Conan: Ran is stronger then you think , he replied: in karate ? . and in his dream he made her really naive and stupid . i know its just an OVA but still .

Plus in "Deperate revival" Conan and Shinichi were in the same place at the same time. 

- she suspected him again after that time . and said he propably used some trick to deceive her .
