Doesn't explain anything. Even in DC time more than 1 year already passed but... it is still the same year.
Maybe their year has more than 365 days. Or some days repeat repeat randomly.
Guess it is the later. That explains how it can be summer in one case and spring in the next, how there could be 100+ cases between Valentine Day and White Day or why some days occurred twice, with several other days in between.
Though, the secret BO machine, controlled by a super-computer that makes all people in the world unaware of the fast that the years are repeating itself and at the same time prevents the aging of the population (with 99.5% effectiveness) is my absolute favorite.

I wouldn't have dared to say that in another thread. 

They wouldn't be kids forever.
Ayumi and Mitsuhiko have 10 years to grow up before they reach the same age as Shinichi and Ran have now. 10 years is a long time for Conan/Ai, long enough for them to gradually realize that the "kids" are progressing and no children anymore.
And I think that even now they are more than "kids" to them. They are their friends.

I actually got a "parenting" feel from that scene.

Actually... yeah, me too.  Feeling proud how well "his"/"her" little protégées developed...
But that scene is so cute. 

But that doesn't change that they are the same size as them. And that they are developing much faster than they are.

At some point the difference in maturity between Conan and Ayumi (or Mistuhiko and Ai) would be low enough.

The difference in maturity between a newborn and a 10 years old is immense.
The difference in maturity between a 10 years old and a 20 years old is huge.
The difference in maturity between a 20 years old and a 30 years old is superable.
The difference in maturity between a 30 years old and a 40 years old is manageable.
The difference in maturity between a 40 years old and a 50 years old is small.
The difference in maturity between a 50 years old and a 60 years old is negligible.

The more Ayumi and Mitsuhiko grow up, the lower the difference will become, even if the other two mature as well. And as I said before in other threads I think that they would mature even slower in their shrunken state than normal persons there normal (psychical) age.

PS: Expect a letter from lawyers office Kisaki&Co within the next few days. Trespassing in my room, making a buying contract without my consent, stealing money, not allowing the commercial return period...

...But I am fair though, I gave myself 10000000000 hours of community service that one time I failed you show up for jury duty..

I think even diplomatic immunity won't protect you from civil charges. And since the crime happened in my country the court would be held here as well.

Well, if that is your preference, go ahead. You have to decide for yourself which pairings you like most, and when you did do everything you want to support it.

Of course we will remind you that both Conan/Shinichi and Genta have so far demonstrated much more interest in girls (Ran and Ayumi), and - to my knowledge - none in other guys.

I actually like that girl from "Mitsuhiko forest" case. She seems like the type he would need to come out of his shell.  Ayumi could possibly end up alone even if she wants to get with either one of them after losing Conan as they might take the hint long before Conan leaves and move on to a different girl(they would still be friends of course but with interest in another girl).

We already know Mitsuhiko doesn't shy from having multiple girls as his love interest  . Speaking of Mitsuhiko, we need more stories of his sister. Maybe get a Eisuke x Mitsuhiko's sister pairing going.

Well to be fair she only appeared once for a short interval.  She's quite cute with freckles actually. 

I bet a reason why Mitsuhiko is nice to girls it because he has an older sister.  Either she teaches him to be nice or threatens him to be nice.  Either way yeah I agree, it'll be cool if Gosho shows the DB's family more.  Genta's dad mom and dad bit was funny to me xD
