The reporter is doing a story from New York, which causes Ran to reminisce about her time there.

Of course, this is immediately before she's interrupted by Conan... who comes in carrying apples of all things.



Then, we see a transition of one of the apples Conan drops above go to this screen...



Before going into Mr. Yaz (Mysterious to the uninitiated).

I haven't watched the whole thing yet, but I'll let you guys know if anything else pops up toward the end or somethin'. I'll also try to take note of what all was taken out to fit the 1-hour runtime, and I'll talk to GinRei to see if the boys will be subbing this anytime soon.

The screenshots look like it's the animation style they use now.  Which has to be weird when placed in with the old animation style they used.

I'm actually itching to watch every episode over again to kill time between new releases. I really enjoyed it the first time through (not counting times I've watched episodes multiple times) so I imagine I'd enjoy it a second time.

Personally, I would rather see a remastered 136 at 6pm instead of the Opening Ceremonies which already took place 7 hours ago.

Before I watched the show I thought the amount of episodes were nuts. I mean, it's not often that I do stuff like this but Detective Conan was such a treat to watch. Thinking about it, it's pretty nuts to think that I want to rewatch them all but at the same time I can only recall myself loving it.
