Yeah, patience is indeed needed when situations like these arise... I think the problem is that people get used to episodes coming out lightning fast, and then when it hits Thursday, Friday, and then Saturday, and they receive no word on the episode other than "coming soon..." people start to get a little antsy. Maybe a status update will ease the impatient?
