playing the songs

I noticed that the people on YouTube don't know the name of the main theme. It's not called Kimi ga Ireba, but rather just Detective Conan. There were a few videos of someone playing that though. I can play the song, but I never recorded myself doing so.

Then I searched on YouTube for å

Right.  It's called the Detective Conan Main Theme, but then later on they put words to it (for one of the movies I believe), and that became "Kimi Ga Ireba"

I'm not seeing how the person in the video was able to reproduce all the sounds like that.

seems like it. But besides, I could only see him using his right hand for the melody, the rest seems to be playback, though he also seems to do something with his left hand...I have no clue what though.
And why to use sheets? I could get the melody on my own just from hearing it a few times.

so no, he's not doing the entire composition at once, but he probably did do everything for the song.

and eh, the sheets probably help him hit the exact notes, he might be off a key or two without it? Not everybody can just play by ear.

Looking at the YouTube profile pic, I think he is actually a she. 

And, Abs, she has a lot of other good work on her YouTube channel, so I doubt its fake.  The Ghibli medley sent shivers down my spine!

true, didn't look at the avatar. Avatars can be misleading though, as sometimes people just put things they like, so who knows, might be "his" wife or something

Hmm, I should get to practicing this myself...except my keyboard is at home. Maybe I can get my brothers to take up their drums and guitar and see if we can create our own rearrangement.
