ET for the win. 

I liked OVA 8, it was really funny especially with the detective boy's deductions.  I was laughing my ass off when Genta's deduction was being thought out.  Also, haibara totally owning Sonoko's plot was pretty funny also.

well, she is asian and rich so I guess it makes sense.
When I first heard the (very) fake sound of the flute, I already saw the outcome, but I kept telling myself that there is no way that I will see Sonoko actually holds a flute but when she span the flute in her hands, I thought "This is crazy and impossible" it is possible maybe if you're Ian Anderson, but a normal musician will never do such a thing with his instrument...

I just love the interactions between Haibara and Sonoko, too bad we don't see these kind of things more often.

You got me wrong. I know that a lot of asians (at least in the last decades) are very attracted to classical music and especially with flute. The best flute player in my country has a lot of asian students.
I'm not asian and I'm not rich, yet I play the flute and I know many others who do too. Of course that in Europe MANY people play the flute, but I know that a lot of asians play the flute as well, especially those who come from a wealthy family can afford themselves a good flute and a good teacher.
I just used a stereotype on Sonoko who is asian and rich, I've never said that only rich asians play the flute as that would go against me as well.

Sonoko doesn't really play the flute anyways. She wrote the script so of course she's going to make herself seem like she can do everything. 

Personally, this OVA was everywhere BUT Sonoko files. It was all over the place. I watched it anticipating that we would see Sonoko files and different versions of SONOKO solving the case. But this title is misleading....

It should've been called "Sonoko's Detective Dilemma" or something like that. The title is just all wrong considering it jumped from Sonoko, to the Detective Boys, to Shinichi. And then no movie or OVA is complete without a sappy ending.....

Geez, this is supposed to be about Sonoko. Where did everything else come from?
