DDDDDDDDDDDDAlso, this episode confirms that the art style is much, much better when it is evening or night.
And around 8:30 there's an awesome new song for the background music.

Chekhov MacGuffin wrote:I wonder why the anime people don't try a Kaito Kid AO. So far Kid is only tangentially related to the storyline. They should ask Gosho if it would ruin his master plan if they make a Kaito Kid four part episode/ 2 hour special. It couldn't hurt the ratings since Kid is well liked.

Akonyl wrote:I liked most of it, even how random stuff like chucking the gun in the right place at the right time got him saved, but I was pretty annoyed by how they didn't really show the actual villain at all until the very end where they say "oh btw it's this guy lol", thought it was sort of lame.

Yeah I pretty much agree. I think the only decent AO I've seen so far was the one when Shinichi's parents disguise as B-org members, and the one when the Detective boys get the case right and not Conan.

I'm going to one of these this friday *joke*
HADAA wrote:This 2nd part is lame because there are no telltale clues for viewers to deduct that Kanda is the killer -- the only clue available was the webpage stating Kanda's hobbies are model guns.
Who on earth would know if the dirt and detergent would still be on his shoes? And no viewers can ever know whether the blood matches his DNA. Momoko could fit in the culprit's profile if it hadn't for Kanda to show up with an injured hand.
A mystery case phails when viewers are not given enough info to solve it before the protagonist does. (Ellery Queen challenges readers to solve a case btw)
