XD I just found this thread and I've been lmao alot.  Love all the parodies!!
Here's some that I found while watching anime...
Zan Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei - Ep ?

And also in History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi anime, they go to the movies during the 5th episode (I think) and look what movie they're going to see....

I just started reading Hayate and noticed this in chapter 4. He also mentioned a "theif kid" in a earlier chapter and we all know who that is. ::)

You'll see Conan and Inuyasha all over Hayate. Quite hilarious.

Holy crap!

How about Kidd, the genius boy detective from Suikoden III?  You are introduced to him when you enter Duck Village, where he:
[*] Declares a murder case (The Duck Murder Case);
[*] States cases happen to him everywhere he goes, being such a famous detective;
[*] Knows obscure pieces of information and makes an ingenious deduction;
[*] And turns out to be wrong about the murder.  Right in his deduction though.

He also puts on a mask before making his deduction- which I took, along with his name, to be a Kaito reference.

;)
