exactly,most of haibaraXconan fans has already  written their opinions  with verrrrry long posts in other threads^^you can look at the thred "ai+conan" (well,you'll see the more stupid arguments also, but i think it's always that way in a pairing thread

I always thought that they write long posts so people wouldn't read them. I can't read long posts, it bores me to death (at least regarding pairings. With deductions of cases I don't mind). So I usually skip the really long posts...

Logically (idk why but idk if that's a word) Shinichi and Shiho are more capatible and better for each other.  

Well, I kind of disagree with you there too.  This is a matter of taste or opinion because we have different perspectives/likes/preference,etc.

I can't force you to like what I like and you can't force to me to like what you like due to our different taste/preference. For example, let's say Aoyama-san let Shinichi and Ran end up together. That doesn't stop AiConan fans to make fanfiction about them and continue to be devoted to that pairing.

Some people like AiConan but some like ShinichiRan.  From your point of view, logically they are compatible but for some, they think Shinnichi and Ran are compatible.

I respect what you think but I'm just saying this is a matter of taste and opinion of an individual.

Personally, a character like Shinichi's would annoy me because of his selfishness, but his good points would make up for the bad ones.  That aside, just because you're a Taurus doesn't mean that every single Taurus is the same.  My mother's a Leo, but she's not stereotypically outgoing at all.  Now her younger sister (who happens to be a Leo as well [July 24; my mother's bday is July 29]) is very outgoing and extroverted and outspoken.

Okay yea that is a bad way to make a point.......I don't know. I think each character has their flaws, but I just don't like to see Ran with Shinichi. It really does bore me, annoy me, and I just find her too demanding and clingy.

I don't find Ran demanding or clingy.  IMO, she hasn't been shown enough for this.  Thinking about the guy you like is normal for a girl.  Wanting his attention is also normal.  And her being clingy...since Shinichi keeps "disappearing", I don't blame her.  Prior to the Conan stuff, no, she didn't come across that way.

I still don't see how anyone can find a fictional pairing annoying. 

That aside, as far as I know, in Japan, they pair up mostly based on blood-type, not the astrological signs that those in the west use.

There is nothing wrong with that. Just not cool when it comes to Shinichi's style...she kind of cramps his style....

I don't see how.  He was on a date with the girl...she "understood" Shinichi enough to let him go and investigate a murder since that's how he is in general.  Too bad the drug wore off and Conan returned with "Shinichi-niichan's credit card" because he had to, once again, "rush off".  How would that be cramping Shinichi's style when we've never seen Ran ordering or demanding Shinichi to stay back with her?  I know she'd prefer it, but she's never been shown getting in the way of his investigations.

Ai/Conan is much more entertaining and has evolved. It seems more complex and fascinating to me. It has such underlying meaning. It's subtle.

I'll agree with this. This is why I find Conan x Ai a more interesting pair than Shinichi x Ran, even though I like Shinichi x Ran too, but, I'd never put down one pairing or make stuff up to use as proof for another.

And they both seem to be so much a like, and yet so different, it's funny...

Ran doesn't seem to have that same spark. It seems she only loves him because they grew up together and she admires him....which is like fangirl to me....

No...a fangirl to me wouldn't argue with him.  A fangirl wouldn't criticize him.  A fangirl wouldn't threaten him as a reminder of a promise he made to take her to the amusement park.  There's nothing wrong with admiring a friend.  Ran seems to admire Sonoko at times, but I doubt she's a 'fangirl' of her.

How does it has something to do with being lazy? I'm getting bored easily from reading long posts (especially since ConanXAi arguements are repeating themselves all the time.) and if I have time to read long posts, it means that I have time to do other things. So in my case, I'd rather do other things and since these things will affect my life more than reading some long posts, it makes sense that I'd choose the other things.
If people choose to read or write long posts, then they can do it, I choose not to and do something else.

^Well, okay... I suppose I misinterpret that part. But the way you reasoned in your previous post, it still look like an opinion to me. This pairing or any other pairing cannot be deemed as a fact until it happens.

We still don't know what Aoyama-sama want. Only the author/mangaka knows what will happen, who end up with who, etc. Everything that is still being speculated by us are still assumptions, therefore it is a matter of opinion.

This kinds of issues seem inherent in very manga I read. (like Naruto....)

Ok again maybe you didn't understand. I didn't say it was a fact that they will or should be together. Im just saying its fact that shinichi is better with shiho because its more entertaining with them together. I mean like ok shinichi and ran get together...then what? probably nothing . They'd probably lead a normal life together. With shiho i can guarente that that would be entertaining and imagine how smart their kids will be .
