I care about him, but only in the sense that I care about never seeing him again. If he reappears ever with the same personality I will be so sad.

I actually kind of agree...not that I think she is annoying, just she wouldn't become important even if she saved Ran's life.....

Thanks for not let me be the only one who thinks like that ;D

Like you guys said, she's the character that everyone likes/enjoys but is no one's actual favorite character, it means, well, she's funny and a good person, anyway, she doesn't make any difference in the story, i think that she only exists cause a woman need a friend (in this case, ran) and that's all.

I know that there's people who likes her and i respect, it's just my opnion

Hmm, Eisuke can be pretty annoying at first, but he's actually pretty bright (semi-detective?? lol).  Hes got potential to be a CIA member...also, for the longest time I thought the whole clumsy thing was an act.

I distinctly remember in one case (I think like...clash of red n black: blood relative or some shit like that), some vase was going to fall and break, and he comes and saves the vase.

But, they never really addressed this later on so..hmmmmm  :o

Exactly. Sonoko is funny and makes DC light-hearted, but she's not really a big contribution to the story. She's even less important than Eusike. It would take a huge leap for her to become important without it seeming like some huge plothole in the story. There are just some characters I have to admit, as much fun as i think they are, are not really important enough to move the story along....

I don't care if Eisuke had the combined intelligence of Shinichi, the FBI, CIA, BO and of all of existence, as long as he has the same personality I will hate him until I am able to hate him to death.

I don't think I ever got past that "at first" part you mentioned about "eisuke can be pretty annoying".

bluekaitou seems to hate anything that would appeal to shojo fans. I'm pretty sure that a guy that kinda acts like a manga clumsy girl sounds like something certain female fans would think is a "KAWAII DESU GLOMP" worthy character. So I understand that (although he could hate him just because, I'm just taking a guess)

However it's been proven time and time again that Akonyl has a terrible sense of humor.  :P

Well anyway, a lot of Eisuke hate going around here. They guy isn't that bad, he's actually an fearsome character in the way he can mask all his strengths behind his appearance and clumsiness.

Sonoko is easily in my Top 3 of female characters in DC. She´s just too awesome (and unique) to be disliked.

With Kazuha... I really loved her for being hot-tempered, obsessive and bitchy (XD)- until her and Heiji and all appearances the Osaka-"couple" had began to annoy me til I wanted to cut them out of every page.
I still like her personality, but I would really prefer her to have less interaction with Heiji because that constant and unwavering bickering is just... no. Sadly, Kazuha not showing up with Heiji would mean her not showing up at all._.
(...God, now that makes me dislike Heiji even more.)

Anyway, back to topic: Somewhere deep down I always prayed for Sonoko finding out about Shinichi´s secret earlier than Ran. May it be her finding it out herself or him "having" to tell her due to some interesting circumstances. I can recall reading a FF about something similar... it was awesome and somehow very believeable.

That sounds like an interesting turn for the series to take and it might give a breath of fresh air to DC for a while. The cases are still above decent but we need more on the plot side to make it seem like Conan isn't just moving from case to case while Okiya/Akai arc plays out.

For the last time Okiya Subaru is not Shuichi, he is Bourbon. I can't wait  until it is confirmed that I am correct.  :P
(although I could see Gosho bringing Akai back like that, logic be damned)

Also, from what I've heard, there's been a lot of plot stuff happening in the manga so that's good. But yeah, I don't want another one like Blue Spark of Hate where nothing important actually happens yet you are supposed to think it does for some reason. The fact that the last two Okiya Subaru cases have sucked is also kinda sad since he is slowly becoming one of my favorite characters.

well...I can't wait until you're wrong ;)

wait...what is this topic about again, oh yeah.
dude if Sonoko found out that conan was shinichi, these would be the new movie intros.

"Hey, Im kudo shinichi, high school detective.  these are the people who know my secret Identity:
Professor Agasa - he creates the tools I use to capture criminals in this body>
Haibara Ai -  an ex-black organization member that took her own APTX drug to kill herself, but she shrank as well.
Yusaku and Yukiko Kudo - my nagging parents, my dad is a famous mystery novelist and my mom is renown actress.
Hattori Heiji - detective of the west, an ally to me when solving cases.
Hondou Eisuke - A potential CIA member, and ally to me in fighting the Black Org.

OH yeah! and Sonoko Suzuki - a rich, boy-crazy 17 year old girl.  Yeah.  Dont ask me how she found out my identity.

Sonoko------ Uhhhhhh *recalling who is she considering she practically disappeared recently... for me anyway XD*

She's like a role less important than others.... so I don't think she'll be one of those developing character...

*shot by Sonoko fans... if they are around*
