Though I was only joking, I don't think brain power is the issue here. If you show a newcomer said trailer, they'll except to see that level of action in every DC episode(ignoring the Spider-Man track played over it). It's the same as starting them off with Countdown to Heaven and then getting angry at them because they expect the series to always be like the movie.

Best thing to do is start them off with movie 11. Get their expectations so low, that they can only go up when they watch the series.

I mentioned brain power because you talked about the Spider Man thing.. someone who wouldn't realize that DC and Spider Man are two different shows shouldn't even bother watching DC, unless they want to waist their time.

Now back to what you meant - I did say in my first post, and I quote: "I don't know if these count as good trailers..." because I was sure people will notice that they contain more action that in the average DC episodes. That's why I wasn't sure of posting them but I did because I was trying to help and those are the only ones I know. If I find better and not misleading ones, I'll post them as well.

I've been searching on youtube for a decent detective conan trailer, and i did not really find anything interesting that would make the viewers wanna watch this series. And i can quite say that it is a shame that so many anime-viewers, are missing this anime.. I presume that we can't even compare the fans of this show, with the fans of naruto.. whereas conan is far better than naruto.

So i guess, we could find some volunteers from this forum, and make a decent trailer, and spread the world with it !

So with all that said, one would think that I would give this the lowest rating possible. Right? Ehh, actually, it is pretty fun and a good starter series, and would probably do very well on Cartoon Network. But does it deserve the hype it's getting? I don't think so.

It's just another average Shonen Jump show with average characters and average plot. Nothing spectacular or stand-out about it at all.

If you're looking for something to draw your friends into anime, this would be a good choice. But if you are a longtime fan looking for something new, just move on.
