I don't think opening a private practice detective agency will require him to graduate from high school since he's had so much experience already. Maybe when he returns to normal and the organization is destroyed, he can write a book about his cases as Conan Edogawa (thus ruining Mouri's agency, among other things--so he probably won't do that). Anyways, he already has all the practical knowledge needed to be a a detective, so I think he's just waiting to turn 18 and just drop out of school to start his practice.

She'd have to remember how to make APTX first.  And Ai didn't graduate, Shiho did.  You can't just take a diploma and be like "Ignore the name, and obvious age differences, that's me."  She'd have to go through college again to get the diploma, or find work somewhere that doesn't care about that (HA, as if).

Besides, that's still a different job.  It's the same career path, but it's not the same job.

ummm isn't that what we're talking about? If she turns back into Shiho?  We're talkin about if Conan is Shinichi, he's failing 11th grade. Conan as a child is passing his lessons, same with Ai. But as Shiho she has graduated, and can get a similar profession. That is what we're talking about......APTX was made by her using data. By the time she becomes Shiho again, she would have taken down the BO, and recovered the data and made an antidote to turn them both back....so she would not have lost the data on how to make APTX by then....

I think Shinichi got special permission from the School, due the side-job he did by helping the police, and Shinichi made the School very famous anyway.. (Shinichi Kudo, famous Detective from Teitan High School)..

To explain this for 'layman' that means for a normal person 10 years of schooling and 12 years of college, a total of 22 years of schooling in no more then 10 years. I say that she very likely skipped a few grades!

I've always thought about this too.  I remember one day in the anime, Ran and Sonoko went off to take some important tests or take practice tests, and I thought to myself "Damn he needs to hurry and get his body back before he falls any further behind!"

I mean, it's an anime, so I'm sure it will all work out in the end, but damn, you can't help but wonder.

I think what most are forgetting is that all the students have to worry about are passing their end of year exams.  Seems that in Japan students don't really "fail" per se.  As long as Shinichi gets back in time to take his end of year tests and get good marks, he'll be fine.
