. Anyone that saw the case would never come to that assumption. So, given that two different people both had the same reaction means at
a) the paper reported the case
horribly wrong and just stuck to the story that would sell papers, "foreigner points at kid for criminal"
or
b) case was reported properly but everyone just focused on the trivial part that "foreigner points at kid for criminal" without reading the facts as to why.
Poor Luther had to actually defend himself in person.
