Just watch Samurai Champloo and look how they made Americans stup*d on one episode, I think that's the baseball one. You think it's because they're rival countries?

I saw that episode as more of a parody since everything in that episode stopped being bound by logic. Did make one funny episode though.

How about the past after the second world war?
Germany had the "luck" that America and USSDR wanted it as a "barrier", so it got on the west side a lot of money and support and on the east side a lot of socialsmen. I have no idea how it was in Japan, but maybe they didn´t had a "wonder" like in germany back then.

Hmmm.... Well I guess every country is competing somehow, though I'd remember someone telling me that after the A-bomb incidents, Japanese practically taught their children to rival the Americans ^_^ But I think it's not a bad thing as long as countries will compete fairly ^_^

^_^ why separating ourselves into races really, we're all human ^_^ (or species that can type XDDDD)

The paradigm is shifting, the new generation will definitely be different ^_^ so maybe the next -next generation anime will end this stereotyping thing ^_^

Luther Heinen from Genta's killer shot(ep.476) would disagree. Mouri made a big deal, along with the waitress, that he performed an *dramatic voice* CRUEL act by pointing at Genta and saying "criminal" . Anyone that saw the case would never come to that assumption. So, given that two different people both had the same reaction means at
a) the paper reported the case horribly wrong and just stuck to the story that would sell papers, "foreigner points at kid for criminal"
or
b) case was reported properly but everyone just focused on the trivial part that "foreigner points at kid for criminal"  without reading the facts as to why.

Poor Luther had to actually defend himself in person. .
