I have to admit, I think some of the tricks the killers in Detective Conan used are very clever, and sometimes I wonder that if a real person committed a crime using one of these methods, if a real-life detective would be able to figure it out.
Like the topic title says, what do you think were the most clever/ingenious tricks any of the villains in DC used?
IMO, I think some of the smartest ones were:
1. The locked bathroom case in Volume 20, the idea of being tricked into thinking the door was locked when it really wasn't. Conan even states during the deduction that he has no proof this trick was used, but he does have proof the woman killed her sister.
2. The arcade murder trick in volume 27. It was another smart idea, switching around the characters, tricking the witnesses about the time of death and who won the game.
3. The potter case from Volumes 16-17, the idea of setting it up so the victim would accidentally hang herself was clever.
