It seemed like there are ... quite a number of thread concerning who conan will end up with XDDD

For me, even if Conan ended up with Ran, as a lover, I would like it a lot, if Ai ends up to be his best friend ^_^

p.s. I just hope Sherry won't die in the end (because Gosho Aoyama "killed" a similar character in Yaiba... which makes me think Sherry is going to take a bullet for Conan ...somehow)

I was thinking the same. Another one that is dedicated to Shinichi's romance life. If he wasn't such a darn attractor of women..........

Anyway, I chose ShihoxShinichi. I love that couple the best, even as friends, rivals, etc. I know Goshyo Aoyama is going RanxShinichi, but it doesn't mean I have to like it, or support it.....it's boring to me....

Mostly, I just want to see a BO showdown in DC, Shiho included!

Voted Ran:Ran.

I don't have anything against Shiho, in fact, I like her character a lot, but I don't really like ShinichixShiho. No offence to those who support the pairing; this is just my opinion.

I think Ran really deserves to be with Shinichi because she's waited for him for so long. If I were her, I would have moved on already. It's just what makes Ran-chan awesome!

I see the relationship between Shiho and Shinichi more like friends than lovers though. That's my opinion so... Ran, all the way.

As much as I like ShinichixRan, in the end I'm sort of hoping that they don't end up getting together. It would just feel too "happily ever after". Real life doesn't work that way. I'd be quite happy with a more bittersweet ending where an antidote is not possible, or Ran finds love with someone else (Eisuke? lol), or Ran never finds out Shinichi's true feelings in one way or another.

I admit I've been rooting for the "happily ever after" since the beginning, but when I really sit down and think it out... I don't actually want that to happen. It's too predictable, why read the story if you know at the end "Oh, ho hum, Shinichi and Ran get married and have twelve kids and he gets his own detective agency, and everyone prances off merrily into the sunset together, the end."

Just my opinion and I know it's probably not a very popular one

Well....when an anime like this is so long, its more than likely that it won't have a solid ending. Have people ever noticed that all the long animes almost always have cliff hangers? That's because the writers have been doing it for so long that its hard for them to end it. Plus because they have grown attached to the characters, more than likely, Shinchi will end up with neither. Ran might end up willing to wait for Shinchi longer, and the ending will be "Welp, we must keep trying to get an antidote, even though the last one is immune to my body....." Shiho: Well thats okay...there are others....I guess we'll wait and see....Shinchi: "Ran I'll be back for you some day....I promise....just wait for me....." The end. I already see it coming especially by the way it drags on. Obviously the writer doesn't want this to end. (Sorry for my dialogue) ^^
