Conan/Shinichi's Relationship Poll: Your favorite vs. the fi

Well, it'd be odd NOW. But really in those episodes, how important is she? Not very. The most important characters don't show up as much. She's the longest character to appear besides Shinichi, but not very important to the story. In the beginning, she was. Now....not so much. I don't think the relationships are the most interesting either, that's why I think Goshyo should change it. to make it more interesting and focus on the development of  Ai/Conan, who add more to the story (not romantically, but in any way).

Yea, it'd be weird without the DC boys, Ran, Kogoro, and Sonoko, but how important are they really?

Well, they´re the side-kicks, the sugar in the coffee, the chese on the pizza, the sweat on the footballplayers and so on.
They are guys and gals who don´t like them, but you can´t be without them either.^g^

i agree with you(are you surprised? ) even if they're not really important in tha story arc,and even if we don't like them, the DB,ran and kogoro still important to balance with more serious and important story arc(BO stuff) in dc!if we only get BO stories,with only the  most important characters, we will get bored of them!
(it's like when you eat  the same thing everyday,even if it's very good,you will get tired of this thing!)

But isn't it interesting that the ones who usually get place in danger are "Ayumi" when Conan is with the Detective Boys and "Ran" at other times?... (besides the BO Arc) ^_________^ Those Girls attracts evil I'm telling you XDDD Without them... Criminals would have no one to kidnap and place in danger XDDD

So true....i agree with that. it would be boring....but they still are unimportant. I especially don't like when supposedly "important" characters, like Ran, are really unimportant. At least make her the boss' granddaughter or something......she's just....the girl who loves Shinichi at this point.

But we need the useless, they make it humorous.......and amusing.

hey!that's true!is it because they seems to be naive and easy to capture? it's annoying that gosho portray them as damsel in distress who wait for conan to save them (well, ran has her karate but it's not enough sometimes against guns)

Damsels in distress...Like in Hercules, they are "D.I.D" cases  XDDDDDD (which kinda annoy me, it's almost every movie that Ran was placed in danger, then she fainted, then she gets rescue by conan.... I really hope Ran's whole purpose in the series is not only being D.I.D from now on...)

Well, I figure Goshyo doesn't want anyone to outshine Shinichi/Conan in any way, even with a Karate kick, so he makes Ran's fighting a little useless......and focuses on the fact that she needs protection....which puts her in the damsel in distress category......the only way Ran would be important is if she was involved with the Bo...which I doubt the "perfect main girl" would. But it would be cool if she was someone Shinichi never expected....

If you've seen XXXHolic, you remember how Himawari-chan ended up being unlucky and bringing bad luck to everyone around her all that time? Watanuki was so shocked because he was so in love with her! In the end their relationship changed....LOL

first of all, the relationships aren't the interesting parts of this series. Otherwise, Heiji and Kazuha would be less popular.  :P

Second of all, half of the FBI's fun is that they only appear once in a while, and their appearance is usually super important. It's like BO members. When they are seen on screen, YOU KNOW something interesting is going to happen. This has been consistently true.

Ran is in almost every episode. Because Kogoro is in almost every episode and it would be odd without Ran around at this point. Kogoro NEVER gets old, so getting rid of him would be a terrible idea. (although I suppose the constant appearances of the Detective Boys kinda contradicts that, but a lot of DC's fans are kids so...)

Yeah, I hate the Detective Boys. They always destroy great episodes and they are also very annoying. I don't know why Gosho decided to have the Detective Boys in every episode. Since episode 521 Detective Conan is in a coma. Even people who are brain dead can understand this show now. However, I hope that they will be removed from Detective Conan for a very long time. I still have hope in Gosho.
