Well most deaths that the main character actually witnesses aren't fake, especially when the character dies in the main character's arms. Pretty sure that we can say Akemi is not the boss. And if she is, I will start a fund to go test out Gosho's tricks... on him.Conan-chandesune wrote:Well, Conan can be fooled. LoL. But you are wrong. For example X-Men Origins Wolverine.Pmofmalasia wrote:Well most deaths that the main character actually witnesses aren't fake, especially when the character dies in the main character's arms. Re: SPOILER: What do we know about the BO Boss?
What Pmofmalasia said. Akai died in a dark place, under suspicious circumstances, with known inconsistencies like missing blood trails. Akemi would have had to trick Conan at close range. You also can't just throw out generalizations like "Conan can be fooled" without some sort of evidence or explanation why. Conan is the series expert at death; so there has to be some pretty good reasons why he would mess up this time when he has never been fooled before given adequate time to check bodies over. If you can't plausibly explain this, then your logic is just no good.Pmofmalasia wrote:Well most deaths that the main character actually witnesses aren't fake, especially when the character dies in the main character's arms. Making the assumption that Gosho will retcon any death is plain bad logic. Gosho doesn't write American style comics which retcon everything. X-men and Detective Conan are apples and oranges. There is no good precedent for such serious overhauls in DC. Gosho virtually never retcons anything except for minor details; Kir's hand position when she felt Conan's pulse and Akai's "last" words (which were not very relevant to his death mystery) are two things that come to mind.Conan-chandesune wrote: LoL. Yeah, plus we have to remember that while DC is a manga/comic it's trying to be as realistic as possible. Unlike X-men. Bringing a character back to life would go against that principle.Chekhov MacGuffin wrote:Making the assumption that Gosho will retcon any death is plain bad logic. Re: SPOILER: What do we know about the BO Boss?
Well, I was thinking, just say this boss is the modern-day Moriarty.
Moriarty was the head of a secret criminal organisation. Holmes describes him as:
"Is he not the celebrated author of The Dynamics of an Asteroid, a book which ascends to such rarefied heights of pure mathematics that it is said that there was no man in the scientific press capable of criticizing it? Is this a man to traduce? Foulmouthed doctor and slandered professor — such would be your respective roles! That’s genius, Watson."
So maybe that's why Haibara will be shocked, because Anokata is someone who is unlikely to a boss of an organisation such as:
[quote="from Chekhov"]2.2) The boss’s front job or status is unexpected like a policeman or a school teacher rather than a scientist, company boss, or political figure. It would have to be an unusually benign front to really shock Ai. This person would probably not trigger Ai’s “black org senseâ€

I do believe that the boss, is a guy because he's favorite person is Vermouth. But, .-. .... "6. The boss's identity will surprise Ai Haibara(??)"
OMG; who da... is ?xD
And btw, this Organization is 50 years old, ;_; what I think is : a person with 30 years old or more, was the successor (to be boss) and now is the badass boss!!! >.<
